Job description
The Global HR Controlling & Rewards Senior Manager at Kempinski Hotels in Dubai is responsible for leading HR Controlling and Total Rewards functions globally. The role ensures robust HR data governance, accurate workforce planning, and the design and execution of global compensation and benefits frameworks. The manager oversees HR reporting and analytics, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and actionable insights for management. Responsibilities include managing the full compensation cycle, preparing executive compensation packages, maintaining salary grids, piloting global benefits policies, and overseeing rewards-related reporting including ESG contributions. The position requires leading global, cross-functional projects, driving organizational change, implementing new HR processes and frameworks, and deploying these processes across diverse geographies with agility. Expertise in HRIS, international labor laws, and HR compliance is critical, as is the ability to engage, train, and influence HR teams and business leaders worldwide.

Key responsibilities
- Own global HR budget, headcount budget, and workforce planning processes with follow-up and variance analysis
- Establish partnership with Finance and Business units to align HR planning and reporting
- Oversee all HR reporting needs and provide analytics to support management decision-making
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance of core HR data across the organization
- Lead and animate the HR community on HR Controlling and data-related topics
- Drive and manage the full compensation cycle including annual budgets, bonus schemes, merit increases, retention plans, and performance pay
- Prepare executive compensation packages using internal and external benchmarks for competitiveness and equity
- Maintain and communicate global compensation and salary grid guidelines to HR teams across Properties
- Own and pilot the global Benefits policy for Corporate Office and Properties
- Oversee rewards-related reporting and compliance, including ESG reporting contributions
- Lead global HR projects and organizational change initiatives, deploying new processes and frameworks while maintaining an agile start-up mindset
- Train, influence, and empower HR teams, business leaders, and stakeholders globally
Experience & skills
- 6–8 years progressive experience in HR with focus on HR Controlling, Compensation & Benefits, or Total Rewards
- Proven corporate or global HR management experience
- Experience leading global, cross-functional projects and organizational change initiatives
- Strong analytical skills to interpret finance and HR metrics for data-informed decision-making
- Proficiency in HRIS and data management/reporting tools
- Solid understanding of international labor laws and HR compliance requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Hands-on work ethic with ability to manage details and execution
- Ability to deploy new HR processes and frameworks globally with agility
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage, influence, and train HR teams and stakeholders worldwide
