Job description
No two days look alike for the leader of this Solutions Architecture team covering Saudi customers within AWS Global Sales. A morning might start with reviewing a customer architecture alongside one of your SAs, followed by a pipeline review with your Sales counterpart. Later, a reference architecture from the team needs checking, field patterns go to an AWS service team to shape its next release, and the day may end with a candidate interview. Customer needs range from first-cloud migrations to AI-powered architectures, and each calls for scalable, flexible and resilient designs. Hiring, enabling and developing the SA team sits at the core of the role, together with a seat on the business development team. Revenue objectives are met through the adoption and migration of applications, software and services onto AWS, in partnership with sales. Customers will look to you as a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads, and white-papers and blogs help spread your team's knowledge further. At least 5 years managing technical, enterprise customer-facing teams and 5 years in infrastructure, database and networking architecture are required, along with a Bachelor's degree and experience on a cloud provider such as Azure, AWS, GCP or OCI.
