Job description
NymCard is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst / Associate to lead investor relations, capital planning, and fundraising initiatives. The role requires strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with experience in M&A, strategic finance, and fintech industry knowledge. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to execute capital strategy, manage investor communications, monitor market trends, and identify strategic opportunities.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective investors.
- Prepare investor updates, board materials, fundraising decks, and data rooms.
- Serve as a key point of contact during due diligence processes.
- Assist with financial planning related to capital structure, scenario modelling, and resource allocation.
- Lead the development of financial models to support M&A, partnerships, and fundraising efforts.
- Support CFO and leadership with capital strategy, treasury, and liquidity planning.
- Drive end-to-end execution of M&A, strategic investments, and fundraising transactions.
- Conduct valuation analyses, build integrated financial models, and coordinate with legal, tax, and advisors.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and deal flow within the fintech ecosystem.
- Identify potential acquisition targets or strategic partners aligned with company objectives.
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a related role.
- Exceptional financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Proven track record in capital raises, M&A transactions, or strategic corporate projects.
- Strong understanding of fintech, digital banking, or the broader financial services space.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with C-suite and external investors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- MBA or CFA is a plus.
