Job description
Saudi VAT rules shape much of the work in this Riyadh-based Accountant role, from VAT returns to tax refund claims that need careful supporting documentation. Day-to-day accounting covers accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries and accurate financial records. Reconciliations are a regular task across bank, supplier, customer and general ledger accounts. Project costs matter too, particularly on real estate and construction projects, where expenses and transactions need close monitoring. Month-end and year-end closing, budgeting support and management reporting round out the cycle. When auditors, tax consultants or authorities need information, you coordinate the response. The role is on-site and full time. Expect to bring at least 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate or construction, with hands-on VAT and tax refund experience and working knowledge of an ERP system.
