Job description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic retail showroom team in Dubai. This role combines design expertise with direct customer interaction, requiring the ability to create compelling interior spaces and deliver personalized design consultations. The ideal candidate will have strong software proficiency, creativity, and a passion for design trends, along with a sales-oriented approach to maximize customer satisfaction and showroom performance.

Key responsibilities
- Meet with walk-in clients to understand their design preferences, requirements, and budgets
- Create innovative and functional interior design concepts for residential and commercial spaces
- Specialize in designing kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, outdoor areas, and space planning
- Prepare mood boards, layout plans, and 3D visualizations using design software
- Guide clients through selection of materials, furniture, tiles, décor, and finishes
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to prepare accurate quotations and project timelines
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, and showroom product offerings
- Mentor and guide junior designers as needed
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in a retail or showroom environment
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar design software
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong sense of design aesthetics, attention to detail, and space planning
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Sales-oriented mindset with ability to upsell and cross-sell showroom products
