Job description
As Director, Business Development, Digital Enablement ā EEMEA at Mastercard, you will lead the commercialization and growth of digital and authentication products across emerging markets in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The role entails developing go-to-market strategies, managing digital product lines, and identifying growth opportunities through product optimization initiatives with issuers, acquirers, PSPs, and merchants. You will work cross-functionally with product leads and market teams, managing pilots and transitioning successful concepts into scalable offerings. This position requires deep industry insight, a solution-oriented approach, and excellent stakeholder collaboration.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Drive growth of tokenization and digital payments across EEMEA.
- Solicit input from internal teams, customers, and third parties for product development and enhancement.
- Conduct market research and opportunity assessments on new product concepts.
- Develop business cases and detailed requirements for new solutions.
- Participate in bringing new solutions to market and manage pilot programs with issuers.
- Support the transition of new products into maintenance and optimization stages.
- Lead optimization initiatives with key stakeholders to enhance transaction volumes and revenue.
- Collaborate with customer relationship managers to ensure successful implementation and feedback cycles.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Business or equivalent experience.
- 7ā10 years of relevant work experience, ideally in financial services.
- Experience in specialist sales, product management, product development, or project management.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to deliver results for customers and the organization.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive success.
