The Sales Manager – Luxury Fashion Boutique Retail at CHANEL in Dubai Mall is responsible for managing a team of Fashion Advisors and driving boutique commercial performance while maintaining the highest standards of luxury client experience and brand representation. Operating in a demanding and constantly evolving luxury retail environment, the role ensures the proper understanding and deployment of the House’s strategy across the boutique while supporting the team across different product universes on the sales floor. The Sales Manager acts as a visible leader within the boutique, coaching Fashion Advisors to achieve high levels of style expertise, delivering exceptional client experience, and acting as a true ambassador of Style and Brand Image. Reporting to the Deputy Boutique Manager, the role contributes to the boutique’s overall business success through leadership, operational planning, and performance monitoring. Responsibilities include managing and developing the Fashion Advisor team through regular one-to-one follow-up meetings, defining individual development priorities, and supporting continuous skill development. The role collaborates closely with the Client Experience Manager team and Boutique Management to ensure alignment with brand standards, commercial objectives, and operational excellence. The Sales Manager oversees compliance with Boutique procedures and the Boutique Charter, contributes to the development and implementation of the boutique’s business strategy, and proactively proposes initiatives to enhance client experience and operational efficiency. The role monitors sales activity performance, prepares regular reports for Boutique Management, and performs quantitative analysis to support recommendations related to business strategy and product strategy. Additional responsibilities include supporting the buying of collections while respecting budget guidelines and the 'one boutique one story' concept, coordinating with Visual Merchandising teams to ensure product visibility, and optimizing inventory management through monitoring sell-through performance and inventory objectives. The Sales Manager also ensures consistent delivery of luxury client experience aligned with brand guidelines, participates in client events, and represents CHANEL’s environmental and societal values while embodying the brand image in all decisions and interactions.

- Manage and lead a team of Fashion Advisors while ensuring proper understanding and deployment of the House’s commercial strategy
- Coach and develop the team to achieve high levels of style expertise and luxury client experience through regular one-to-one performance follow-ups
- Define individual development priorities, implement action plans, and communicate progress to the Deputy Boutique Manager
- Drive boutique business performance by monitoring sales activity, managing targets, and ensuring continuous progress toward commercial objectives
- Collaborate with the Deputy Boutique Manager to develop and implement the boutique’s overall business strategy
- Ensure full compliance with Boutique procedures, operational standards, and the Boutique Charter
- Proactively recommend initiatives to enhance luxury client experience and improve boutique operational efficiency
- Perform quantitative sales and business analysis to provide recommendations for product and business strategies
- Support the buying of collections for the boutique while respecting budgets, guidelines, and the 'one boutique one story' concept
- Coordinate with Visual Merchandising teams to ensure optimal product visibility and brand presentation in the boutique
- Optimize inventory management by monitoring sell-through performance and managing inventory objectives for assigned product categories
- Prepare and deliver regular sales and business performance reports to Boutique Management
- Ensure consistent delivery of luxury client experience aligned with CHANEL brand guidelines and participate in client events
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate experience in luxury fashion retail sales management and boutique operations
- Possess strong leadership capability to manage and coach Fashion Advisors and drive team performance
- Demonstrate knowledge of fashion, style, and current trends relevant to luxury retail
- Demonstrate capability to conduct quantitative sales analysis, business performance monitoring, and product strategy recommendations
- Possess experience managing boutique inventory, sell-through monitoring, and product merchandising visibility
- Demonstrate strong written and spoken English proficiency
