Job description
The Social Media Content Creator at Six Senses Zighy Bay is responsible for fully understanding and expressing the vision, values, and brand pillars of Six Senses, including sustainability, wellness, local sensitivity, global sensibility, emotional hospitality, responsible luxury, and out-of-the-ordinary experiences. Based at the luxury Six Senses Zighy Bay resort in Dibba-Musandam, Oman, the role focuses on creating, producing, and managing high-quality visual and digital content to elevate the resort’s social media presence and marketing initiatives. The position delivers end-to-end content creation including photography, videography, drone footage, graphic design, and post-production editing for use across social media platforms, marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and digital and print collateral. The role leads the resort’s social media strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth, manages content calendars, schedules posts, analyzes performance metrics, collaborates with influencers and brand ambassadors, responds to guest interactions online, and supports marketing promotions for rooms, F&B, spa, sustainability initiatives, and resort activities. The Social Media Content Creator works closely with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams including operations, F&B, sustainability, and spa to deliver aligned creative outputs while staying current with industry trends and introducing innovative ideas to enhance the resort’s digital presence.

Key responsibilities
- Develop high-quality photography, videography, and drone content aligned with Six Senses brand identity and storytelling standards
- Edit photos and videos for social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and promotional use using professional post-production tools
- Design eye-catching graphics and layouts for digital and print marketing collateral
- Manage end-to-end media production including pre-production planning, on-site shooting, and post-production delivery
- Maintain and manage all media equipment to ensure operational readiness and quality output
- Lead and execute the resort’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth
- Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms while staying ahead of digital trends
- Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to manage content creation during resort visits
- Monitor and respond to guest comments, reviews, and interactions across social platforms to protect and enhance brand reputation
- Analyze social media performance metrics and optimize content and strategy based on insights
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns for rooms, F&B, spa, sustainability initiatives, and resort activities
- Support the marketing team in coordinating and executing monthly events and activities in line with the Marketing Plan
- Assist with website content updates to ensure accuracy, freshness, and engagement
- Collaborate with operations, F&B, sustainability, and spa teams to conceptualize and deliver promotional materials
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to align creative output with overall marketing and brand strategy
- Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external content creation including influencer collaborations and professional photo shoots
Experience & skills
- Hold a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Photography, or a related field
- Possess 1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably within luxury hospitality
- Demonstrate expertise in photography, videography, and drone operation with strong visual storytelling capability
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
- Demonstrate experience managing social media platforms, content calendars, and performance analytics
- Demonstrate experience supporting marketing campaigns, promotions, and digital content updates
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and alignment with sustainability, wellness, and Six Senses brand values
- Demonstrate flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings and weekends based on project needs
