Job description
This role manages all end-to-end financial operations for a Salla branch, ensuring precise accounting, complete reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting aligned with controllership standards. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining branch financial records, issuing invoices to partners, clients, and suppliers, monitoring collections, managing disbursements, payments, and payroll, maintaining trial balances and reconciliations, and ensuring proper documentation and filing. The position requires preparing tax schedules and compliance data, supporting month-end and year-end closings with the Controllership team, and continuously improving financial processes, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiency. The Branch Accountant collaborates closely with the General Manager on financial approvals, requests, and budget needs while maintaining strict adherence to financial control and compliance procedures.

Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end branch financial operations including accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Prepare, organize, and maintain financial records and reports for all branch activities
- Issue invoices to partners, clients, and suppliers in accordance with company policies
- Follow up on collections, maintain communication schedules, and ensure timely receipts
- Process and manage payments, disbursements, and payroll for branch operations
- Coordinate with the General Manager for financial requests, approvals, and budget requirements
- Maintain and update trial balance, ledgers, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, and retention of financial and supporting documents
- Prepare and maintain tax schedules and compliance data for the branch
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with the Controllership team
- Improve financial processes, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiency
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3ā5 years of experience in accounting or branch-level financial operations
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems
- Solid understanding of tax reporting and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Effective communication and coordination skills across departments
- Good command of English, written and verbal
- Preferred: experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Preferred: familiarity with multi-entity accounting and cross-border reporting
- Preferred: knowledge of financial controls and compliance procedures
