Job description
Qiddiya Investment Company seeks a Senior Director â Governance, Controls & Reporting for the Hospitality Business Unit in Riyadh to establish, implement, and oversee a comprehensive governance controls and reporting framework across hospitality projects. The role leads preparation of insightful project and operational reports that inform management decisions and strategic planning; ensures compliance with internal policies, processes, and procedures; and maintains the integrity, transparency, and accountability of the business unit through regular reporting. Responsibilities include setting KPIs and reporting mechanisms to evaluate project performance and alignment with organizational goals; collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement continuous improvement in governance and reporting processes; managing production of monthly BU reports and presenting them to senior leadership and stakeholder committees; liaising with internal stakeholders, contractors, designers, and suppliers; managing data collection, benchmarking, and reporting; coordinating with the central secretariat and governance teams to report on BU performance and keep executive leadership updated; engaging senior management with findings, insights, and recommendations; mentoring and training staff to foster a culture of accountability and excellence in reporting; assisting with risk management and reporting; and driving efficiencies to improve service and ways of working. Candidates will bring 20+ yearsâ experience and academic credentials in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related construction industry field, with professional certifications such as CPCP or PCCP (or equivalent).

Key responsibilities
- Implement and oversee a comprehensive governance controls and reporting framework across all hospitality projects
- Lead preparation of insightful project and operational reports to inform management decisions and support strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and procedures while safeguarding business unit integrity through regular reporting
- Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to evaluate project performance and alignment with organizational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement continuous improvements in governance and reporting processes
- Manage monthly business unit report production and present results to senior leadership and stakeholder committees
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, designers, and suppliers to gather inputs and ensure reporting accuracy
- Manage data collection, benchmarking, and consolidated reporting for the hospitality business unit
- Coordinate with the central secretariat and governance teams to provide performance updates to executive leadership
- Engage senior management and stakeholders with findings, insights, and recommendations based on analysis and reporting
- Provide mentorship and training to staff to embed accountability and excellence in reporting practices
- Support risk management activities and associated reporting across projects
- Identify efficiencies to enhance service delivery and implement better ways of working
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related construction industry field
- Certified Project Control Professional (CPCP), Project Controls Certified Practitioner (PCCP), or equivalent
- Minimum 20+ years of professional experience
- Demonstrated capability to establish governance controls and robust reporting processes in a multi-project environment
- Experience producing and presenting monthly business unit reports to senior leadership and committees
- Proven collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., contractors, designers, suppliers, secretariat/governance teams)
- Experience in KPI development, performance measurement, data collection, and benchmarking
- Background in risk management and associated reporting
