Job description
The Coordination Specialist will support onshore construction activities by developing and managing Installation Work Packages (IWPs), facilitating implementation of WorkFace Planning (WFP), and collaborating closely with field execution teams. Based in Doha, this role contributes to weekly and three-week look-ahead schedules, interfaces with Construction Supervisors and subcontractors, monitors execution progress, and ensures compliance with construction and subcontractor execution plans. The role requires strong knowledge of planning software and field execution environments, and supports overall project progress through document control, reporting, and field coordination.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in managing and developing Installation Work Packages ahead of Construction
- Assist with WFP implementation in the areas/disciplines assigned via continuous collaboration and analysis of field execution
- Provide information to the area manager to support decision-making and guide field supervision
- Assist in developing and issuing the three (3) week look-ahead (3WLA) schedule for their area/discipline
- Produce the construction weekly work plan from the 3WLA and subsequent weekly status reports
- Interface with the Construction Supervisor, Project Controls, and subcontractors to facilitate updates to the Construction Execution Plan
- Monitor site construction to ensure compliance with Weekly Work Plans
- Monitor and facilitate subcontractor compliance with the Subcontractor Execution Plans and detailed Weekly Work Plans
- Record and communicate Lessons Learned captured on IWPs
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in construction with an emphasis on Construction
- Knowledge of Construction Planning software, Earned Value Management, Material Management, and document/timekeeping systems
- Experience with 3D model visualization tools is preferred
- Moderate knowledge of MDR construction planning procedures, progress systems, material management systems, document management, and timekeeping systems
- Excellent attention to detail with proven ability to meet deadlines and resolve issues
- Capable of working independently in a field assignment environment with frequent walking, climbing, and travel
