The Senior Account Manager role at talabat focuses on managing and growing strategic restaurant partnerships within Abu Dhabi while contributing to broader UAE-level commercial objectives. This position plays a critical role in driving joint business planning, increasing Talabat Go (TGO) market share, optimizing commercial agreements, and leading cross-functional initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and partner performance. The role combines strategic account development, project leadership, revenue generation, operational excellence, and team mentoring. The Senior Account Manager works closely with restaurant partners to strengthen long-term relationships, improve digital adoption, increase visibility through marketing solutions, and unlock sustainable revenue growth opportunities. Operating in a fast-paced e-commerce and food delivery environment, the role requires strong analytical capabilities, negotiation skills, and the ability to lead high-impact initiatives that support talabatās commercial goals and market expansion strategy.

Key responsibilities
- Drive joint business planning with top restaurant accounts to ensure mutual value creation, sustainable growth, and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with partners, analyze KPIs, identify growth gaps, and develop structured action plans to enhance performance and revenue.
- Increase Talabat Go (TGO) market share by proactively migrating partners to Talabat delivery solutions and optimizing logistics performance.
- Lead commission renegotiations and develop customized commercial proposals to improve profitability while maintaining strong partner relationships.
- Manage and execute UAE-level or emirate-level strategic projects that positively impact operational efficiency, customer experience, or partner performance.
- Mentor junior account managers by supporting KPI achievement, coaching on upselling strategies, account analysis, and client relationship management.
- Maintain strong day-to-day relationships with restaurant partners, resolving operational issues quickly and ensuring alignment between restaurants and internal teams.
- Optimize restaurant content including menu photos, delivery time settings, minimum order values, and promotional visibility to maximize conversion rates.
- Drive advertisement sales opportunities such as sponsored listings, banner placements, newsletters, and exclusive digital campaigns.
- Promote digital transformation initiatives including splash pages, white-label integrations, and online payment adoption to enhance partner operations.
- Identify and generate new revenue streams through cross-selling, upselling, custom promotions, and performance-based marketing initiatives.
- Monitor inactive accounts, track activation metrics, maintain accurate sales records, and ensure timely follow-ups and reporting.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4ā5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within technology, food & beverage, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms.
- Proven track record of managing high-value accounts, driving revenue growth, and leading cross-functional commercial projects.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and restaurant owners.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with experience in commercial discussions and contract renegotiations.
- Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
