Job description
The role is responsible for driving business development for DP Worldâs Trade Finance offering under the DPW Trade Finance initiative, targeting importers, exporters and transporters across the UAE and additional markets such as CIS. The Sales Senior Manager will originate, manage and grow trade finance clients, using a personal database and market leads to build a qualified pipeline aligned with credit criteria. Core responsibilities include structuring deals, understanding client financials, presenting cases to Credit and managing the full client lifecycle. The position requires originating larger and more complex cross-border credits aligned with DP Worldâs logistics footprint and client financing requirements, conducting customer visits, and supporting both the Dubai-based Trade Finance team and UAE logistics team to develop bundled finance + logistics product offerings. The role involves analyzing sales trends, market dynamics and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities, representing Cargoes Finance in all customer interactions and supporting long-term relationships with key corporate clients. The Senior Manager must identify opportunities, negotiate tactfully, solve problems, and act independently while serving as an ambassador for DP Worldâs principles, values, and Code of Conduct.

- Originate and manage clients eligible for trade finance solutions offered by DP World
- Use personal networks and market leads to develop a pipeline meeting required credit criteria
- Structure trade finance deals, analyze client financials and present cases to Credit
- Manage end-to-end client lifecycle for trade finance products
- Originate large and complex cross-border credit opportunities aligned with DP Worldâs logistics footprint
- Arrange and conduct customer visits to expand trade finance opportunities and support the UAE logistics team
- Collaborate with teams to develop bundled finance + logistics offerings
- Support Dubai Trade Finance and UAE logistics teams in building long-term client relationships
- Analyze sales trends, market dynamics and reports to determine growth potential
- Gather market and competitor intelligence to help capture new business opportunities
- Serve as a product ambassador in all customer-facing engagements
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
Experience & skills
- Possess more than 15 years of business development experience in promoting Trade Finance or Corporate & Commercial Banking products to mid and large corporates
- Experience working with non-bank financial institutions or trade finance funds is a strong advantage
- Hold a Masterâs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Banking or Engineering
- Exhibit excellent knowledge of trade finance, corporate banking and cross-border finance including imports/exports financing, pre- and post-shipment financing, receivables/payables financing, supply chain finance and inventory finance
- Demonstrate a strong track record of achieving and exceeding business development targets
- Show strong persuasion skills and the ability to identify and pursue opportunities assertively
- Exhibit patience and tact in customer negotiation scenarios
- Possess strong problem-solving abilities
- Be capable of working independently without supervision
