Job description
As a Senior Manager ā HR Business Partner at Sobha Constructions, you will act as a strategic advisor and operational executor across multiple construction sites and corporate functions. You will collaborate closely with department heads, project directors, and HR COEs to drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives. Your role will encompass stakeholder engagement, HR operations, talent development, compliance, employee engagement, and the execution of change management projects. You will be responsible for translating business priorities into actionable people strategies, building a high-performance culture, and supporting transformation and digitization efforts across the organization.

Key responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner to HODs, project directors, and business leaders across construction and corporate sites.
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand business priorities and propose people-centric solutions.
- Drive performance, productivity, and engagement through HR interventions.
- Oversee HR operations such as onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and exits.
- Collaborate with site HR teams for compliant and timely HR service delivery.
- Track and report HR metrics including attrition, absenteeism, and workforce planning data.
- Support capability building through training, development, and talent mobility initiatives.
- Implement leadership development and high-potential identification practices.
- Champion a culture of discipline, safety, and ownership in line with Sobhaās values.
- Execute employee engagement activities and welfare programs at the site level.
- Contribute to HR transformation and organizational change projects.
- Lead HR digitization, policy rollouts, compliance audits, and process improvements.
Experience & skills
- MBA or Masterās in HR / Personnel Management from a reputed institution.
- 14ā16 years of HR experience, ideally in construction, infrastructure, or real estate sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in business partnering and stakeholder engagement.
- Expertise in HR operations, labor compliance, and workforce management.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach with high ownership.
- Strong communication, influencing, and people management capabilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently to various project sites as needed.
