Job description
The Market Collaboration Manager role based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within Mars, is responsible for owning and driving demand planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) activities across the Saudi market. The position owns demand planning for three or more channels, delivering a single unbiased demand signal that supports business decision-making. The role leads Demand Reviews by clearly articulating risks, opportunities, and trade-offs, while continuously improving forecast accuracy, reducing forecast bias, and increasing value-added forecasting. Acting as the Market ATG Single Point of Contact (SPOC), the role holds full accountability for market representation, including participation in Supply Reviews and ATG forums. A key mandate includes revamping the New Product Introduction (NPI) process by establishing clear guidelines, controls, and governance, owning end-to-end NPI planning, launch readiness, accurate volume phasing, supply alignment, milestone governance, and post-launch performance tracking with embedded learnings. The role also leads digitalization and automation initiatives across demand and supply planning, reducing manual effort, improving data quality, and enabling insight-led decisions. Ownership of planning dashboards and planning tool adoption is required, working closely with Digital and IT partners. Performance is measured against KPIs including Forecast Accuracy and Bias, Case Fill and Service, NPI Readiness, Inventory Health, Digital Adoption, and Stakeholder Confidence. The role operates within Mars, a global family-owned FMCG organization with over $50 billion in global sales, operating in more than 80 countries and guided by the Mars Five Principles.
