Project Coordinator / Stakeholder Manager role responsible for managing and coordinating stakeholder relationships across a rail infrastructure project during the Design & Build (D&B) phase in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role involves identifying key stakeholders including government bodies, local authorities, environmental agencies, clients, local interest groups, and other relevant parties, and ensuring structured engagement with them throughout the project lifecycle. The Stakeholder Manager develops and implements a comprehensive stakeholder management plan to ensure continuous communication, visibility, and structured input from all stakeholders aligned with project objectives. The position requires active engagement with public sector entities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi policies and procedures, legal requirements, financial protocols, and corporate governance standards. The role includes monitoring stakeholder-related risks, identifying potential issues or conflicts, and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery. The Stakeholder Manager provides regular progress reports to both internal teams and clients, highlighting stakeholder concerns, risks, and opportunities, and ensuring transparency in communication. The role drives stakeholder alignment through structured meetings and engagement sessions to ensure that concerns, requirements, and feedback are properly addressed and integrated into project decision-making. It also involves cross-functional collaboration with internal departments to ensure alignment with legal, financial, and corporate processes while maintaining project objectives. The role is particularly focused on residential, hospitality, or mixed-use infrastructure environments and requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and structured stakeholder communication in complex infrastructure delivery contexts.

Key responsibilities
- Identify and map key stakeholders including government bodies, local authorities, environmental agencies, clients, and community interest groups for rail infrastructure projects
- Develop, implement, and maintain a structured stakeholder management plan ensuring continuous engagement and communication throughout the D&B phase
- Engage with stakeholders through structured meetings and communication channels to ensure project visibility, alignment, and incorporation of stakeholder requirements
- Identify, assess, and mitigate stakeholder-related risks and provide advisory insights on opportunities and threats impacting project delivery
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with legal, financial, corporate, and regulatory protocols applicable in Abu Dhabi
- Prepare and deliver regular stakeholder progress reports to clients and internal teams highlighting risks, issues, and engagement outcomes
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to ensure concerns are addressed, managed, and resolved in alignment with project objectives and timelines
- Support programme and project management functions by ensuring stakeholder inputs are integrated into project planning and execution
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate minimum 10 years of experience in stakeholder management, project coordination, or infrastructure project environments
- Possess Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline relevant to infrastructure or construction projects
- Show knowledge of Abu Dhabi policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks relevant to infrastructure and public sector projects
- Have experience working in residential, hospitality, or mixed-use development projects within construction or infrastructure sectors
- Exhibit strong analytical skills with ability to identify, assess, and mitigate stakeholder-related risks effectively
- Demonstrate high attention to detail ensuring accuracy in stakeholder documentation, communication, and reporting processes
- Possess strong communication and coordination skills to manage engagement across government, client, and community stakeholders
