Job description
The Technical Program Manager, Compliance, Safety and Risk Management at Google is responsible for leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects that ensure safety, compliance, and risk management across AI/ML systems and infrastructure. The role is based in Dubai and focuses on programs that span technical domains within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Vertex AI, and BigQuery. The position requires experience managing technical programs related to compliance, safety, and risk management, utilizing agile project management methodologies to de-risk and audit programs effectively. The TPM acts as a liaison between security and AI/ML teams, ensuring that Vertex AI and Gemini in Security agents have accurate, low-latency access to contextual data via Spanner Graph. The role involves architecting and developing data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from diverse security tools. Additionally, the TPM governs sensitive enterprise data flows to ensure compliance with data minimization, pseudonymization, and anonymization requirements. The individual collaborates across engineering, operations, and security functions to define, implement, and refine autonomous response playbooks and machine-speed containment systems. Key responsibilities
- Act as liaison between the security and AI/ML teams to ensure Vertex AI and Gemini in Security agents have high-fidelity, low-latency access to contextual data from Spanner Graph
- Architect and develop robust data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from multiple security tools
- Lead the definition, implementation, and continuous refinement of Autonomous Response Agent playbooks to enable swift, automated containment responses
- Apply agile methodologies and project management tools to improve program efficiency and delivery quality
- Govern and build pipelines for sensitive enterprise data ensuring compliance with minimization, pseudonymization, and anonymization mandates
- Plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and coordinate across cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives
- Communicate analyses, risks, and recommendations to both technical and executive audiences
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align on technical tradeoffs and implementation priorities
- Ensure that program outcomes align with compliance, safety, and risk management frameworks and regulatory standards
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Have at least 2 years of experience in program or project management, leading multidisciplinary projects
- Demonstrate experience managing programs in compliance, safety, or risk management domains
- Possess experience with AI/ML systems, specifically on Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI, and BigQuery
- Apply Agile Project Management methodologies for de-risking and auditing technical programs
- Understand security operations principles, architectures, and technologies
- Show ability to learn and apply new technologies and systems with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate success managing technical programs in data orchestration, visualization, and automation
- Exhibit strong communication, planning, and execution skills in dynamic environments
