Job description
The Senior Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist at Gulf International Bank in Khobar is responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing technical security controls and processes across critical cyber defense infrastructure. The role involves applying security policies, performing system administration on cybersecurity applications, managing updates of cyber defense rules and signatures, and maintaining awareness of emerging threats. The specialist ensures compliance with control frameworks such as CIS 20, PCI DSS, ISO, and COBIT, and implements risk management and security assessment procedures. Responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, periodic security reviews, incident response, forensic investigations, and documenting policies, procedures, and security controls. The role requires participation in industry education and networking, preparation of audit reports with remediation strategies, and use of continuous monitoring tools to assess ongoing risk.

- Conduct technical risk and vulnerability assessments using continuous monitoring tools
- Prepare cybersecurity assessment and audit reports with recommended remediation
- Carry out vulnerability scanning on systems and assets
