Job description
The Senior Manager Sales Academy – EMC Retail Training is responsible for driving commercial targets by identifying and analyzing training needs across all sales channels, developing strategic training plans, and implementing programs to align with global sales and business strategy. The role manages a team of EMC training managers and extended training teams across markets, ensuring consistency and quality of training implementation. The position oversees revision and localization of global training materials, multi-language translation quality assurance, retail and franchise training operations, seasonal product learning across wholesale accounts, and adoption of modern training tools and technology. The manager is accountable for optimizing training budgets, encouraging continuous improvement, monitoring KPI impact using the Kirkpatrick Model (Reach, Reaction, Learning, Behavior, Impact), supporting team development and upskilling initiatives, and facilitating collaboration with HRBP and cross-functional stakeholders. The role requires periodic market visits to support program implementation and observe retail behavior, ensuring retail teams possess the skills and functional knowledge to deliver premium customer service and drive business KPIs.

- Manage EMC training managers and extended training teams across markets to ensure consistency and quality of training implementation
- Own and manage the EMC training calendar and ensure timely implementation of programs per EM & Global SA guidelines
- Revise and adapt global training materials to meet local requirements while maintaining learning objectives
- Oversee quality assurance of multi-language translation of training materials when required
- Ensure retail teams possess the skills and functional knowledge to provide premium customer service and drive business KPIs
- Support franchise and wholesale training operations across key accounts and seasonal product learning
- Provide feedback and consultancy on program content and execution to EM & Global SA
- Lead and manage local training initiatives as agreed with DTC Lead
- Leverage technology and modern training tools to champion innovation in training
- Manage and optimize training budgets across EMC markets
- Monitor and share best practices across EMC and with EM & Global SA to encourage continuous improvement
- Support individual and team development through upskilling initiatives and learning communities
- Collaborate with HRBP for launch and execution of key retail HR initiatives
- Manage communication and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
- Conduct market visits to support implementation and observe retail behavior
Experience & skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a multinational organization, preferably in retail sales training or learning & development roles with operations background
- At least 3 years of managerial experience
- University degree in Business, HR, L&D, or related field
- Advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with tools such as Canva, Prezi, Mentimeter
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); Arabic is an asset
- Proven track record of increasing retail and sales KPIs through training programs
- Strong business acumen, results orientation, and data-driven mindset
- Experience in instructional design, content, and program development is a plus
- Ability to travel across EMC markets as required
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
