Job description
The Analyst, Business Performance (EVCI & H2 Operations) at ADNOC Distribution supports the development and execution of business performance management frameworks for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) and Hydrogen (H2) operations. The role involves in-depth market research, industry trend analysis, and competitive assessments to provide strategic input for business development. The analyst supports budgeting and financial planning, monitors operational expenditure against approved budgets, and contributes to forecasting activities aligned with corporate financial planning processes. The role includes identifying and tracking key performance indicators, analyzing operational and financial performance through dashboards, scorecards, benchmarks, and business cases, and delivering comprehensive performance reports in compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The analyst collaborates with internal stakeholders, vendors, technology partners, IT, data management teams, external consultants, and industry experts to ensure reliable performance data systems, including CPMS. The position supports negotiation and contracting with technology and digital partners, identifies new opportunities to enhance EVCI and H2 solutions, ensures compliance with policies, procedures, quality, health, safety, and environment standards, conducts audits and reviews, and drives continuous improvement through innovation and best practice adoption within ADNOC Distributionās sustainable mobility strategy.

Key responsibilities
- Support preparation, review, and monitoring of EVCI & H2 operations budgets and forecasts aligned with corporate financial planning processes
- Monitor actual operational expenditure against approved budgets and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify technology partners, alliances, and new business opportunities within EVCI and H2 operations
- Support negotiation and contracting processes with digital and technology partners in compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Support development and implementation of business performance management frameworks aligned with corporate strategy and objectives
- Analyze and report operational and financial performance using dashboards, scorecards, benchmarks, and business cases
- Identify, track, and monitor key performance indicators against plans and targets
- Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to measure departmental performance
- Prepare and present periodic and ad hoc performance reports, dashboards, and risk analyses to stakeholders
- Conduct benchmarking and best practice research to identify operational improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with internal departments, ADNOC Group entities, vendors, and partners to integrate performance management activities
- Collaborate with IT and data management teams to ensure reliability of performance data systems including CPMS
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and quality, health, safety, and environment requirements
- Conduct audits and reviews of performance management processes and implement corrective actions for non-compliance
- Engage stakeholders and industry forums to support performance management tools, methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorās degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering or technical services, including at least 4 years in the EV or EV charging industry
- Possess knowledge and understanding of the EVCI and H2 industry, markets, and technologies
- Demonstrate proficiency in business performance management tools and methodologies such as dashboards, scorecards, benchmarks, and business cases
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of international and local standards, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrate experience in charge point operations (asset)
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Demonstrate experience in project management or hold a PMP certification
