The Retail Inventory Controller is responsible for monitoring and maintaining levels of inventory between systems, retail stores, and warehouse operations while ensuring correct retail controls and procedures are implemented at store level and delivering accurate STOH information to the Senior Manager Retail Operations and Senior Manager Consumer Excellence. The role involves running inventory reports on daily, weekly, and monthly basis, performing detailed item performance analysis, and developing accurate and consistent inventory reporting structures with enhancements. The position requires identifying heavy and low-turn inventory items, maintaining communication reports for respective teams, controlling inventory adjustments including quantity and price variance analysis, conducting diligent investigations to resolve system issues, minimizing inaccuracies of store stock data, and ensuring maintenance and accountability of high levels of customer service for both internal and external stakeholders. The Retail Inventory Controller drives the stock audit process from planning to execution, ensures stock items and stock revenue are accurately managed in aLS and SAP systems for 100% alignment, organizes large volumes of data, and proactively proposes process changes to prevent irregularities. Responsibilities include store receiving and shipping of inventory into and out of company warehouses including EOS transfers and inter-branch transfers, investigating discrepancies, and reporting results of investigations and anomalies related to possible loss prevention issues directly to Senior Manager Retail Operations. The role supports shrinkage targets defined annually, ensures uniforms and damages are adjusted monthly, supports PRP internal controls audit results, closes investigations within 48 hours, and maintains system alignment monthly results between 98% and 100%. The position requires advanced use of MS Office suite, fluency in English and Arabic, and experience in retail inventory control within sports or consumer goods industry environments.

- Control inventory adjustments including quantity and price variance analysis, conduct investigations to resolve system discrepancies, and minimize inaccuracies in store stock data.
- Drive stock audit processes from planning to execution, ensure compliance with audit requirements, and support PRP internal controls audit results.
- Manage stock items and stock revenue accurately within aLS and SAP systems to maintain 100% system alignment and ensure accurate reporting.
- Organize large volumes of data, propose process improvements to prevent irregularities, and support continuous enhancement of inventory controls and procedures.
- Manage store receiving and shipping of inventory including EOS transfers and inter-branch transfers, investigate discrepancies, report loss prevention issues, and ensure investigations are closed within defined timelines.
Experience & skills
- Hold university degree or diploma level qualification with 3-4 years of retail inventory control experience within sports or consumer goods industry.
- Demonstrate experience in inventory management, inventory reporting, stock audit, shrinkage analysis, loss prevention, and inventory variance analysis within retail environments.
- Possess hands-on experience working with SAP and aLS systems for inventory management, system alignment, and reporting accuracy.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
- Show experience managing store inventory, warehouse inventory, stock transfers, EOS transfers, and inter-branch transfers.
- Demonstrate experience conducting investigations, resolving discrepancies, and supporting internal controls audit requirements.
- Possess fluency in English and Arabic to support reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrate ability to manage large datasets, maintain system alignment targets, support shrinkage control initiatives, and implement process improvements.
