Job description
Airports, duty-free operators, border stores, cruise lines, and other travel retail channels across Saudi Arabia all sit within reach of this Travel Retail Manager role, and building a real commercial presence across them is the mandate. You will develop and execute the travel retail commercial strategy across KSA, shaping how the business shows up in every channel that matters. New business opportunities need identifying and securing across airports, duty-free operators, border stores, cruise lines, and other relevant channels. Strong relationships with key travel retail operators and strategic partners need building and maintaining, since much of the growth here depends on those partnerships holding up over time. Commercial negotiations, trade agreements, and annual joint business plans all get led directly, with outcomes that shape the business's presence in the market for the year ahead. Significant ownership and autonomy come with the role, reflecting how central this position is to the business's international growth ambitions. FMCG and consumer goods experience underpins the whole job, alongside a track record in key account management and commercial sales. Business development, account management, and commercial negotiation skills all get exercised regularly as the KSA travel retail footprint expands.
