The Manager to Senior Manager – GCP Dedicated Architect role at Deloitte is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role operates across Saudi Arabia and Jordan, with locations in Riyadh and Amman, and sits within a global professional services and management consulting environment. The position involves close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, architect cloud infrastructure, and ensure best practices in cloud adoption, governance, security, and migration. The role includes defining and implementing cloud strategies, creating architecture documentation and standards, evaluating new GCP services and tools, and ensuring compliance with security policies. The architect provides technical leadership, supports agile and DevOps delivery models, enables containerized and orchestrated workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE), and supports cloud monitoring and logging using Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring and Logging). The role also includes training and knowledge transfer, hands-on securing of GCP environments, supporting cloud migration initiatives, and contributing to disaster recovery planning and implementation. Exposure to multi-cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, as well as familiarity with DevOps CI/CD tools, is considered advantageous.
