Job description
The Demand Planner I at Honeywell in Dubai is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts to support supply chain planning, inventory optimization, and service level improvements. The role ensures alignment between sales, operations, and finance through consensus forecasting and scenario planning. Key duties include developing and maintaining statistical forecasts using historical data and market trends, leveraging SAP ERP systems and Excel-based models to simulate demand scenarios, and using dashboards and workbooks to visualize demand patterns and performance. The planner collaborates with cross-functional teams globally, conducts formal forecast reviews, and improves forecast accuracy to support operational efficiency. The role requires expertise in demand planning strategies, inventory management, and supply-demand balancing, as well as identifying excess inventory, rework stock, and QA issues with proposed mitigation strategies. Responsibilities also include supporting initiatives like Last Time Buy (LTB) planning, product lifecycle transitions, and contributing to META projects and inventory plans. - Optimize the balance between supply and demand to meet internal service KPIs
- Identify excess inventory, rework stock, and QA issues and propose mitigation strategies

- Contribute to META projects and inventory plans
Experience & skills
- 3+ years of planning, materials, sourcing, or other related supply chain experience
- Strong knowledge of demand planning principles, methodologies, and tools
- Advanced MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with demand planning software and systems
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Business fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience with SAP ERP systems
- Experience with demand planning tools such as RapidResponse, SAP APO module, or Forecast Pro
