Job description
From November 2026 to February 2027, this maternity cover joins the established PE department at Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi on Al Reem Island. Every student, from Early Years Foundation Stage through to IGCSEs and A-levels, follows the English National Curriculum, so lessons need to work for a wide range of ages and abilities. Resources are plentiful and expectations for achievement are high. Strong relationships with parents matter here, since they play a direct part in student progress. Beyond timetabled lessons, you will take a full part in extra-curricular life, which for PE typically means clubs and sports activities. Colleagues expect someone who shares expertise readily and adapts quickly to an international school setting. Experience of the UK national curriculum at a strong level is required, and international school experience is an advantage. Safeguarding and the welfare of every pupil come first.
