Job description
The Account Executive at Snowflake for Abu Dhabi Public Sector is responsible for building and managing client relationships within government and public sector enterprises. The role includes developing and executing a regional sales strategy, driving revenue growth through marketing plans, qualifying prospects, managing a complex sales process, engaging with executives and CxOs, closing new client relationships, and ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction. The Account Executive serves as a trusted advisor, understanding clients' IT roadmaps, presenting solution-based approaches, and aligning Snowflake solutions with client business objectives. The position requires fluency in Arabic and English, executive-level relationship management, experience in quota attainment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth enterprise software and cloud environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts by developing and executing a regional sales strategy and target prospect list.
- Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their IT roadmap and promoting Snowflake solutions.
- Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
- Arrange and conduct initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
- Manage the sales process and close opportunities.
- Conduct ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue streams.
- Apply solution-based selling techniques and manage complex sales cycles.
- Maintain organization and contact management to support efficient pipeline development.
Experience & skills
- 7+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud technology.
- 4+ years of experience generating new business within Abu Dhabi government/public sector accounts.
- Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken).
- Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close client relationships.
- Experience achieving $1M+ ARR quotas per year.
- Track record of consistent pipeline development and quota achievement.
- Ability to determine customer requirements and present appropriate solutions.
- Proactive, independent thinker with high energy and positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, startup-like environments.
- Executive-level relationship management skills.
- Understanding of IT business drivers and the 'bigger picture'.
- Bonus: industry-specific experience, experience implementing MEDDPICC, experience selling software or cloud-based applications to the enterprise.
