Job description
Spare parts sitting on a shelf tie up capital, while missing parts keep equipment out of service, and finding the right balance between the two is what this Jubail position is about. Air Products relies on it to manage facility spares and consumables in close partnership with the Operations and Maintenance teams. Much of the groundwork happens in SAP, where Bills of Materials (BOM) from suppliers are built and stored locations recorded. During construction and commissioning, you set up zone stores, provide warehouse support and keep inventory control accurate. Once the plant is running, spare part levels are set based on in-country availability, and stock replacement and inventory check programmes keep them right. Turnarounds (TAR) and scheduled outages need materials ready when the site team needs them, and emergency transport with vendors is sometimes required. Warehouse contractors work under your supervision, with EH&S requirements applied to every activity. Expect 24/7 emergency response duties, along with training others on hard goods inventory methods and SAP transactions. At least 5 years of warehouse and inventory management experience, fluent English and Arabic, and knowledge of Saudi vendors are needed.
