Job description
The Supervisor – Security Permits & Government Relations role at AD Ports Group is responsible for supporting the administration, coordination, and tracking of security permits and inspections across the organization. The position involves working closely with government authorities, internal departments, and external stakeholders to ensure timely submission and approval of required permits. The role also includes maintaining documentation, monitoring regulatory compliance, and supporting physical security inspections across multiple sites. The Supervisor contributes to improving permit processes, ensuring compliance with security standards, and providing guidance to internal teams regarding permit requirements. This position requires strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills along with familiarity with regulatory compliance and government liaison processes.

Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the security permit and inspection application process across AD Ports Group. The Supervisor assists in gathering required documentation, preparing applications, and ensuring submissions are completed accurately and within required timelines.
- Research and understand local and international security regulations relevant to AD Ports operations. The role involves staying updated on regulatory requirements and supporting compliance efforts across departments to ensure adherence to security standards.
- Coordinate with government authorities and external agencies to submit permit applications and track approval status. The Supervisor follows up on pending applications and ensures timely resolution of issues affecting approvals.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all permit applications, approvals, and supporting documentation. This includes ensuring documentation is easily accessible for audits, reporting, and internal reference.
- Provide guidance and support to internal departments regarding permit and inspection requirements. The Supervisor helps ensure that operational teams understand regulatory obligations and follow required procedures.
- Assist in conducting physical inspections of security measures across sites to verify compliance with security policies and regulations. The role involves identifying vulnerabilities and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on permit status, regulatory changes, and potential delays. The Supervisor communicates updates to management and stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Support the development and improvement of standardized procedures, templates, and workflows related to permit and inspection processes. The role contributes to improving efficiency and consistency across the organization.
Experience & skills
- Higher Diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Security Management, or a related discipline. Candidates should have relevant academic background supporting administrative and compliance functions.
- 1–3 years of experience in security permits administration, government relations, or regulatory compliance support. Experience working with government agencies is preferred.
- Familiarity with permit and inspection application processes including documentation requirements and tracking systems. Candidates should demonstrate strong administrative capabilities.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail. The role requires maintaining accurate documentation and tracking multiple permit applications.
- Ability to coordinate with government agencies and internal stakeholders to facilitate permit approvals. Candidates must demonstrate communication and coordination skills.
- Experience supporting compliance with local or international security regulations. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, including speaking, reading, and writing. Bilingual proficiency is required for coordination with authorities and stakeholders.
- Ability to conduct site inspections and identify security risks or compliance gaps. Candidates should demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
