Job description
The Legal Executive in Dubai is responsible for managing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence, ensuring all documentation is accurate, formatted correctly, and complete. The role includes maintaining precise legal filing systems and records, monitoring expiry dates for hotel management agreements, constitutional documents, hotel licenses, POAs, and key operating contracts, and coordinating renewals with DHH legal teams. The incumbent will input and manage data in legal databases and software systems including CSC, iManage, and MASDAR. The role also provides company secretary assistance by ensuring up-to-date filings for certain DHH entities and liaising with operators and hotel teams to progress administrative legal matters. Additional responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and PowerPoint presentations, compiling materials, taking detailed minutes, and maintaining alignment with internal legal policies and procedures. The position involves inter-departmental communication and acts as a dedicated interface for legal enquiries, contributing to overall operational efficiency and compliance.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Proofread legal documents for typos, formatting errors, and missing or inaccurate information
- Organize and manage legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Arrange signatories for contracts and official documents
- Maintain accurate legal filing systems and records, including monitoring expiry dates of agreements and licenses
- Progress renewals for hotel management agreements, constitutional documents, hotel licenses, POAs, and key operating contracts in coordination with DHH legal teams
