Job description
The Assistant Manager β Procurement supports procurement operations for Qiddiya Investment Company, facilitating end-to-end procurement processes in alignment with organizational goals. The role includes preparing and managing RFPs, RFQs, and related procurement documents in accordance with company policies. It requires coordinating supplier selection, negotiating contracts, drafting and administering agreements, and ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards. Responsibilities extend to managing the full contract lifecycle, handling modifications and extensions, resolving disputes, and contributing to procurement templates and documentation alongside the legal team. The role involves advising non-procurement staff on procurement procedures, enhancing procurement policies and processes, and managing multiple simultaneous procurement projects. Continuous improvement, adherence to governance standards, and maintaining high-quality execution across procurement workflows are integral components of this position.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and managing RFPs, RFQs, and procurement documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate procurement activities including supplier evaluation, selection, negotiations, and award recommendations.
- Manage full contract lifecycle including drafting, review, negotiation, and ensuring adherence to legal and organizational requirements.
- Provide process guidance and support to non-procurement staff across various business units.
- Oversee contract administration including amendments, extensions, and dispute resolution.
- Develop and maintain procurement templates and documentation in collaboration with the legal team.
- Contribute to the enhancement and continuous improvement of procurement policies and procedures.
- Manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement and contract management within a corporate environment.
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIPP, CIPPM, or CIPS are advantageous.
- Experience with contract drafting, negotiation, supplier selection, and procurement governance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
