Key Account Manager - Commercial Vehicles (Trucks and Buses) at Al-Futtaim Automotive FAMCO Qatar responsible for driving business growth within the Commercial Vehicles Sales Team by promoting, presenting, and selling a comprehensive range of commercial vehicle solutions tailored to customer needs. The role focuses on Trucks or Buses division and involves developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating closely with Product Managers and Regional Sales Managers to deliver competitive vehicle packages and after-sales solutions that enhance profitability and customer satisfaction. The position includes achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets, managing key customer accounts, preparing weekly sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and margin analysis, while tracking sales performance and implementing corrective actions to meet targets. The role requires managing customer accounts using SAP and CRM systems, maintaining accurate data, ensuring reporting compliance, and maintaining a healthy sales funnel with high forecast accuracy. The Key Account Manager conducts market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, supports strategic planning, prepares proposals and quotations, negotiates contracts, and ensures compliance with company policies, governance requirements, and ethical standards. The position requires strong understanding of commercial vehicles including trucks and buses, fleet operations, applications, and market segments, along with proficiency in MS Office, SAP systems, financial analysis, and forecasting. The role operates within a dynamic, target-driven sales team environment focused on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth within Al-Futtaim Automotive.

Key responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for trucks, buses, and commercial vehicle solutions by promoting, presenting, and selling tailored vehicle packages and after-sales solutions
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager and Product Manager to define, track, and deliver sales objectives by product line, customer segment, and territory
- Prepare weekly sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and margin analysis while tracking sales performance and implementing corrective actions to achieve targets
- Manage customer accounts using SAP and CRM systems ensuring accurate data management, timely updates, and compliance with reporting requirements
- Maintain healthy sales funnel, ensure forecast accuracy, and manage sales cycle from opportunity identification to deal closure
- Conduct market analysis and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and support strategic sales planning
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate commercial agreements ensuring alignment with company policies and governance requirements
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and deliver customer-focused commercial vehicle solutions
Experience & skills
- Hold Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrate minimum 3 years of experience in commercial vehicles sales including trucks or buses within Qatar market
- Possess strong understanding of commercial vehicles, fleet operations, applications, and market segments
- Demonstrate experience managing full sales cycle including lead generation, forecasting, negotiation, and closing deals
- Show proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint along with SAP systems and CRM platforms
- Demonstrate strong analytical, forecasting, and financial interpretation capabilities with margin and performance analysis
- Demonstrate project management skills and ability to build and maintain influential client relationships
- Demonstrate fluency in English with knowledge of Arabic considered an advantage
