The role sits within Grant Thornton UAE’s growing External Audit service line and focuses on delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to a diverse client portfolio across Financial Services and non-Financial Services sectors. Responsibilities involve leading audit engagements, agreeing on audit timetables, briefing audit teams including specialists, monitoring engagement budgets and ensuring audit work is completed profitably, on time and in accordance with professional standards. The mandate includes maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and clear communication, managing, coaching and motivating team members while supporting their development, and maintaining high-quality audit documentation in line with firm risk management policies. The role requires applying strong technical accounting skills and IFRS knowledge to resolve complex accounting and audit issues, contributing to a positive team culture and supporting junior staff development. The position forms part of a large and expanding professional services firm that emphasizes community, authenticity, and growth, with a commitment to delivering best-in-class assurance services to over 700 companies annually.
