Job description
As the Manager - Risk Management, you will oversee contract management, legal advisory, risk mitigation, and compliance operations to ensure organizational adherence to legal standards and enhance strategic decision-making. This includes drafting and negotiating various contracts, advising senior leadership on legal risks, managing compliance policies, and mentoring a team of legal professionals. You will serve as a key liaison for stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning and business growth with sound legal input.

Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including vendor, client, licensing, and partnership agreements
- Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations
- Develop standard contract templates and guidelines to improve efficiency
- Provide legal guidance on contractual matters, compliance, IP, and data protection
- Collaborate with senior management to develop contracting strategies aligned with business goals
- Participate in strategic decision-making processes to assess legal risks and opportunities
- Identify and assess legal risks in contracts and propose mitigation strategies
- Implement policies to ensure legal compliance and reduce organizational risk
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, legal counsel, and regulators
- Serve as the primary contact for contract negotiations and dispute resolution
- Supervise and mentor contract specialists and legal professionals
- Promote a collaborative, inclusive work environment focused on professional development
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree from an accredited law school or university
- Admission as an attorney and active bar association membership in a known jurisdiction
- Minimum of 10 years post-qualification legal experience with a focus on contract law
- Proven expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts
- Strong understanding of regulatory and legal issues in the business environment
- Experience in project management and strategic planning
- Knowledge of international contract law and global business practices
