Job description
The Associate Manager, Sales (Field Sales Supervisor) at Nestlé KSA in Qassim is responsible for driving sales growth, retail execution excellence, and customer partnership development across the General Trade channel in the Center Region, including Qassim and Hail areas. The role focuses on delivering the overall value of retail by ensuring optimal product distribution, strong in-store execution, and increased market share. The position requires managing field sales operations, ensuring full route coverage, optimizing drop size, and improving sales success rates across retail customers. The Associate Manager will supervise field sales teams, provide training, and ensure compliance with company standards and operational procedures. The role involves building strong customer relationships, monitoring competitor activities, and providing market insights to management. The position also requires analyzing sales performance, tracking KPIs, and implementing strategies to enhance retail visibility and customer engagement. The Associate Manager will ensure compliance with pricing guidelines, manage promotional execution, and lead financial expenditure responsibly. The role demands strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to travel frequently across the assigned territory to ensure effective field operations.

- Drive monthly and annual sales targets across assigned territories by managing retail execution, increasing distribution, and optimizing sales performance across General Trade channels
- Ensure full route coverage, optimize drop size, improve success rate, and expand market share through effective field sales planning and execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers to improve product placement, increase visibility, and strengthen business partnerships
- Supervise and develop field sales team members by conducting training sessions, coaching, and performance monitoring to enhance sales capabilities
- Utilize sales tools, POS systems, and reporting platforms to track performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for growth
- Monitor and audit customer collections while ensuring compliance with company financial policies and credit guidelines
- Ensure adherence to pricing guidelines, promotional execution, and retail compliance standards across assigned markets
- Provide market intelligence by monitoring competitor pricing, promotional activities, and retail trends, and communicate insights to management
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience, preferably within FMCG or food and beverage industries
- Previous experience supervising retail routes and managing field sales teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial, inventory, and retail data for effective decision-making
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territory and valid Saudi driving license required
