Job description
The Manager ā Operations Procurement oversees all procurement functions supporting uninterrupted data center operations in Saudi Arabia. This role ensures alignment of purchasing activities with maintenance schedules and emergency requirements to maintain optimal uptime and operational reliability. The incumbent is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating with local and regional suppliers, as well as managing vendor relationships to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and certification standards. The manager tracks supply levels, maintains visibility on critical spare parts and consumables, and ensures that alternate suppliers are available to mitigate operational risks. Responsibilities also include managing planned and unplanned maintenance procurement cycles across MEP systems, UPS units, HVAC systems, and diesel generators. The role requires collaboration with internal operations and maintenance teams to align site-level procurement activities with regional best practices, monitor vendor performance, and enhance supply chain efficiency. This position is vital for ensuring uninterrupted operations in mission-critical environments such as data centers, telecom, or industrial facilities. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of technical procurement for maintenance, proven experience in supplier coordination, and the ability to execute procurement activities in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.

Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily procurement activities to support continuous data center operations
- Align procurement plans with preventive and reactive maintenance schedules
- Manage relationships with local and regional suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
- Coordinate with vendors for planned and emergency maintenance requirements
- Monitor vendor compliance with safety, quality, and certification standards
- Provide immediate procurement support during emergencies to minimize downtime
- Maintain visibility of critical spare parts and consumables across all facilities

- Collaborate with internal teams to monitor inventory and evaluate vendor performance

Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Engineering or Procurement-related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations
- Experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers, telecom, or industrial facilities
- Proven expertise in spare parts procurement, vendor coordination, and contract implementation
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, UPS units, HVAC systems, and diesel generators
- Familiarity with preventive and reactive maintenance procurement cycles
- Demonstrated ability to manage procurement activities under pressure and within strict timeframes
- Strong communication and coordination skills for supplier and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards related to operational procurement
