Job description
Are you a motivated and technically proficient pilot who delivers excellence? Weāre looking for Direct Entry Captains to join our growing team. To become one of our A350 or A380 Captains, you will need a minimum of 7,000 hours total flying time multi-crew, multi-engine (only time in the operating seat of a turboprop and/or turbojet aircraft can be counted; not simulator time). Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Operate as Captain on Airbus A350 or A380 aircraft in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Ensure safe and efficient conduct of all flight phases including pre-flight planning, takeoff, cruise, descent, and landing
- Manage the flight deck crew and coordinate with cabin and ground teams
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements at all times
- Conduct briefings and debriefings with crew to review flight performance and safety
- Monitor aircraft systems and performance, and take corrective action as required
- Maintain accurate flight records and logbooks
Experience & skills
- Minimum 7,000 hours total flying time multi-crew, multi-engine (excluding simulator time)
- For A380: minimum 3,000 hours PIC on Airbus FBW wide body
- For A350: minimum 3,000 hours PIC on multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet >50 t MTOW and 1,500 hours as Captain on Airbus FBW wide body
- Currently flying as Captain on Airbus FBW wide body
- Minimum 150 hours in past 12 months as Captain on Airbus FBW wide body
- Valid ICAO ATPL with matching Authority Class 1 Medical
- ICAO English level 5 or above
- CV, passport, ATPL with type-rating, and unrestricted Class 1 medical certificate attached to application
