Job description

The Legal Specialist (UAE National) role is based within Tabby’s UAE legal department and is designed for candidates with 1–2 years of legal experience in the UAE. The position supports legal documentation, contract management, governance, regulatory compliance, and administrative legal operations. The role involves drafting, reviewing, organizing, and maintaining contracts, NDAs, MOUs, corporate resolutions, and legal records, managing contract lifecycles, conducting legal research on UAE laws and regulations, supporting regulatory filings, liaising with external legal counsel and government authorities, monitoring legal and regulatory changes, and assisting in the development of internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks within a fast-paced fintech environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents including contracts, NDAs, MOUs, and corporate resolutions
- Support contract lifecycle management by tracking execution, renewals, and terminations
- Assist with governance matters including drafting board resolutions, managing corporate records, and ensuring compliance with company bylaws
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings related to applicable laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Support regulatory filings and monitor changes in local UAE laws and regulations impacting the business
- Maintain legal files, databases, and documentation in an organized and secure manner
- Liaise with external legal counsel and government agencies as required
- Assist in developing and implementing internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Provide general administrative support to the legal department
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Law or an equivalent legal qualification
- Have a minimum of 1–2 years of legal experience within the United Arab Emirates
- Demonstrate solid understanding of UAE laws and the regulatory landscape
- Show familiarity with contract management software or legal technology tools
- Exhibit strong written and verbal proficiency in both English and Arabic
