Job description
The Data Protection Manager will ensure data processing of personal identifiable information or any critical data is protected and disposed when necessary, embed consent management within the data processing lifecycle, and monitor and enforce organizational compliance with local data protection regulations as well as international regulations such as GDPR. The role develops data protection policies and conducts periodic data protection impact assessments (DPIA), educates employees on their responsibilities regarding processing data, acts as the point of contact and advisor to issues during or after the data processing lifecycle, and liaises with legal advisors while enforcing contractors to oblige to the organizationâs data protection and privacy requirements. Key responsibilities
- Ensure data processing of personal identifiable information or any critical data is protected and disposed when necessary
- Ensure consent management is embedded within the data processing lifecycle
- Monitor and enforce organizational compliance with local data protection regulations and international regulations such as GDPR
- Develop data protection policies and conduct periodic data protection impact assessments (DPIA)
- Educate employees on their responsibilities regarding processing data
- Act as the point of contact and advisor to issues arising during or after the data processing lifecycle
- Liaise with legal advisors and enforce contractors to oblige to the organizationâs data protection and privacy requirements
Experience & skills
- Bring 8+ year of experience in Data Security tools
- Show demonstrable experience of Data Privacy regulations and requirements
- Possess strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, internal audit concepts, standards and processes
- Hold certifications including CDPSE (Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer) and other relevant Data & Privacy certification
- Be able to work within Accenture Security contexts spanning security strategy development, business transformation, and managed security services at global scale
