Job description
As a Senior Sales Manager at Honeywell, the role involves driving revenue growth across the refining, petrochemical, and gas sectors while managing a regional team of project sales representatives. Responsibilities include managing 18-month forecasts via SFDC, supporting account-level strategic planning (STRAP), engaging directly with clients to promote UOP technologies and solutions, and ensuring Honeywell is positioned as a preferred technology partner. The role also involves overseeing sales pipeline progress, developing team capabilities through hiring, training, and mentoring, and leading value-driven solution selling initiatives using tools like Miller-Heiman and Value Proposition Selling.

Key responsibilities
- Strategize with UPT Sales Director to prioritize projects and set sales strategy
- Collaborate with LST and Service Director to align regional financial objectives
- Develop and execute STRAP account plans to meet annual UPT order targets
- Manage 18-month sales forecast and maintain past dues via SFDC
- Lead a regional team of project sales representatives
- Drive new business growth and ensure offering model success
- Engage directly with clients to position UOP as a preferred technology partner
- Promote, negotiate, and close deals personally
- Consolidate individual account plans into a regional strategy with Marketing Manager
- Drive sales cadence to progress opportunities through pipeline
- Hire, train, and mentor sales team on PSS, SFDC, and value selling methodologies
- Support personal growth objectives via the UPT process and SFDC tools
Experience & skills
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Strong understanding of refining, petrochemical, and gas markets and competition
- In-depth knowledge of refining, PC, and gas process technologies and UOP offers
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and customer service skills
