Job description
A Governance & Quality Expert is sought to architect and manage enterprise-level data governance frameworks. The role focuses on developing governance strategies, enforcing data quality standards, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. This position requires close collaboration with business units to translate operational needs into measurable governance metrics and advise on future-state workflows and risk mitigation. The role offers the opportunity to lead change in a data-driven environment, overseeing policies, standards, and the effectiveness of governance councils.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise data governance programs
- Oversee and administer data governance councils and stakeholder engagement
- Define and enforce governance policies, data standards, and procedures
- Develop and deliver training materials on governance and data awareness
- Monitor, track, and report on data quality metrics and remediation efforts
- Maintain metadata, update data dictionaries, and manage data querying tools

Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering; Master’s preferred
- Minimum 6 years in data governance or data protection roles
- Expertise in data privacy regulations and data stewardship
- Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and risk advisory
- Ability to assess and implement quality control systems in data workflows
- Knowledge of business and technical processes related to data
