Job description
The HR Business Partner at Cigna will work closely with the Head of HR, KSA, and business leaders to execute HR strategies aligned with the companyâs goals. This position plays a key role in supporting talent acquisition, implementing people programs, and enhancing employee engagement in Saudi Arabia. As part of Cigna Healthcare International, the HRBP will collaborate across departments and regions, ensuring HR alignment with business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture. The role is based in Riyadh and supports hybrid work.

Key responsibilities
- Support the Head of HR KSA in executing the HR strategy for KSA
- Partner with managers on implementing people plans and initiatives
- Collaborate with HR leaders on strategic HR projects aligned with KSA & MEA strategy
- Implement initiatives with the Cigna HR community that drive business outcomes
- Drive HR innovation and future of work agenda
- Develop and implement HR programs including talent development, performance management, and inclusion
- Manage year-end compensation review process in collaboration with HR
- Coach people managers on staffing and employee relations issues
- Support the Talent Acquisition team with hiring aligned to workforce plans
- Ensure new joiners receive efficient and timely onboarding
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a global, matrixed environment
- Experience in healthcare or insurance industry preferred
- Exposure to both local and international markets
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects
- Bachelorâs degree in HR or Business Administration
- CIPD qualification preferred
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Experience in an HR Centre of Excellence (COE) is an advantage
- Proficient in project management
- Ability to handle complex HR challenges and drive strategic outcomes
