Job description
The Telco & Media Strategic Account Manager role at Salesforce (founded in 1999 and the global leader in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)) is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, within the Core Business Unit and Core Sales team, leading Salesforceās engagement with strategic Telco & Media customers in the Middle East region across existing relationships and high-potential new accounts. The position owns the full account strategy, executive alignment, and multi-cloud growth plans to position Salesforce as a strategic transformation partner, accelerating presence and revenue across enterprise Telco/Media customers. The role requires building and managing a strong pipeline through territory planning, strategic prospecting, and relationship development; navigating complex deal cycles; leading internal collaboration; and consistently delivering against revenue targets. It includes acting as the primary executive sponsor from Salesforce to drive long-term digital transformation outcomes, defining and executing multi-year strategic growth plans aligned to customer priorities, and driving alignment across Salesforce Core CRM, AI, Data Cloud, and Industry Cloud teams to deliver unified customer value. The position seeks a seasoned sales professional with successful, reference-able experience in enterprise software or cloud technology sales, demonstrated success in leading strategic enterprise accounts including large transformational, multi-cloud deals, deep understanding of the Telco/Media sector or similar capital-intensive industries, proven ability to engage C-level stakeholders, influence decision-making, and lead account teams effectively, strong commercial acumen, consultative selling skills, and long-term account planning capabilities. Additional requirements include university graduate calibre, being based in the UAE or willingness to relocate within 3 months, a valid UAE driving license, fluency in English with Arabic strongly preferred, and no restrictions on international or regional travel. Key responsibilities
- Lead a strategic portfolio of enterprise Telco/Media customers spanning existing accounts and new logo opportunities.
- Own the vision, strategy, and executive engagement across each assigned account.
- Drive alignment across Salesforce Core CRM, AI, Data Cloud, and Industry Cloud teams to deliver unified customer value.
- Serve as the primary executive sponsor from Salesforce to drive long-term digital transformation outcomes.
- Accelerate Salesforceās presence and revenue across high-value enterprise Telco/Media customers.
- Define and execute multi-year strategic growth plans aligned to customer business priorities.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through territory planning, strategic prospecting, and relationship development.
- Navigate complex deal cycles, lead internal collaboration, and consistently deliver against revenue targets.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and help shape their digital strategy through the Salesforce platform.
Experience & skills
