Job description
The Accounting Team Leader will manage and oversee the Shared Services Centre (SSC) accounting operations for IFZA customers. The role includes team leadership, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, process standardization, operational efficiency, and supporting financial reporting and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities
- Lead implementation of SSC strategy, ensuring effective operation and growth of the division.
- Manage daily accounting operations and team, ensuring adherence to internal controls and procedures.
- Develop and implement process documentation and standard operating procedures within SSC.
- Provide mentoring and professional development support to the accounting team.
- Conduct final reviews of customer reporting and financial statements, ensuring compliance with audit standards.
- Serve as a key contact for accounting inquiries and advise the team on accounting fundamentals.
- Identify service delivery issues and take corrective actions proactively.
- Support standardization and continuous improvement initiatives within the SSC.
- Monitor automation activities and ensure continuity of daily tasks.
- Prepare monthly financial statements for customers.
- Report on SSC operations and performance to senior management.
- Assist in ad hoc projects or tasks as required to support business objectives.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3β5 years accounting experience with exposure to IFRS.
- 1β2 years management or team leadership experience preferred.
- Full proficiency in English; German language skills highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, process-oriented, and communication skills.
- ERP system experience beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
