Job description
The Relationship Manager β Exchange Traded Derivatives is a pure hunter role focused on acquiring and activating new clients within global derivatives markets. The position targets institutional investors, corporates, family offices, proprietary trading firms, algorithmic traders, and high-net-worth individuals with minimum investments of USD 100,000+. The role involves structuring bespoke derivatives strategies across equity indices, commodities, and interest rates, aligned to client risk appetite and market conditions. The incumbent works closely with dealing, research, risk, operations, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution and regulatory adherence, while driving revenue through new funded accounts, trading volumes, and brokerage generation.

Key responsibilities
- Acquire and onboard new clients for exchange-traded derivatives with minimum investment thresholds
- Identify and convert institutional, corporate, family office, proprietary trading, algo trading, and HNI clients
- Structure and pitch directional, hedging, volatility, spread, and delta-neutral strategies
- Educate clients on margin requirements, MTM settlements, rollover mechanics, and exchange rules
- Build and manage a strong acquisition pipeline via cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events
- Achieve targets across funded accounts, trading volumes, revenue, and activation metrics
- Monitor volatility, open interest, expiries, rollovers, and macro events to support client advisory
- Collaborate with internal desks and control functions for execution and compliance
- Support business growth through seminars, webinars, and derivatives market briefings
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- MBA (Finance), CFA, FRM, CA, or relevant certifications preferred
- 3β5+ years of experience in derivatives sales, institutional broking, proprietary trading, or wealth management
- Proven track record in new client acquisition within derivatives markets
- Strong exposure to global exchanges and multi-asset derivatives
- Ability to manage sophisticated institutional and HNI client relationships
- Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
