Job description
QNB is seeking a Vice President - Private Banking Sales to manage and expand relationships with High Net Worth (HNW) clients, including ruling family members and government officials. The role requires providing a full suite of private banking services, including investments, fiduciary services, credit, and international/domestic banking. The incumbent will act as a one-stop solution for HNW clients, ensuring personalized service, compliance with regulatory standards, and growth in assets and liabilities.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with HNW customers, including ruling family members and government officials
- Act as a single point of contact for all private banking services including domestic and international banking, investment, fiduciary, and lending
- Evaluate client financial data and recommend strategies based on risk profiles and financial objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to meet volume, revenue, and profit targets for private banking
- Market QNBās products and services to HNW clients and increase share of wallet
- Ensure timely handling and resolution of customer complaints and escalations
- Conduct client visits to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities
- Provide input to product development teams for HNW-focused financial solutions
- Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements, including AML, KYC, and account opening procedures
- Prepare reports and provide information to auditors, compliance, and risk teams
- Manage service charge collections and financial oversight for client accounts
- Support new product launches tailored for HNW clients
- Mentor and guide junior team members in private banking sales
- Uphold confidentiality and high professional standards to protect QNBās reputation
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- Minimum 10 years of banking experience, with specialization in HNW relationship management
- At least 3 years of experience in the local market
- Strong knowledge of private banking products, services, risks, and regulations
- CISI Foundation Courses or equivalent
- Introduction to Securities and Investments certification
- Certification in Finance, Risk & Decision Making
- Financial Lending related courses
- Track record of business development and cross-selling private banking services
- Well-versed in compliance policies including AML and CTF
