Job description
The Director – ICT Partnership Management & Acquisitions role at du is responsible for building and executing a prioritized 12–24-month pipeline of ICT partnership and acquisition opportunities aligned with du Tech’s strategic roadmap and evolving market priorities. The role leads end-to-end sourcing, screening, strategic fit assessment, and lifecycle management of technology partners, vendors, OEMs, system integrators, and acquisition targets. It drives commercial and strategic evaluations including market validation, financial assumption testing, ROI modeling, and value-creation hypothesis development, ensuring alignment with annual CAPEX and OPEX planning. Acting as a central orchestrator across Finance, Strategy, Legal, Product, Delivery, Sales, and Operations, the role prepares governance and Investment Committee materials, oversees partnership execution and performance governance, coordinates third-party advisors, supports regulatory and compliance processes, and enhances enterprise partnership and acquisition frameworks to strengthen decision-making quality, transparency, and portfolio performance while contributing directly to ICT revenue growth and long-term margin improvement.

- Develop and maintain a prioritized 12–24-month pipeline of ICT partnership and acquisition opportunities
- Source, screen, and assess strategic fit of technology partners and acquisition targets
- Conduct commercial and strategic evaluations including market validation and financial assumption testing
- Develop business cases and value-creation hypotheses aligned with CAPEX and OPEX planning
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs from Finance, Strategy, Legal, Product, Delivery, Sales, and Operations
- Prepare Investment Committee materials, governance submissions, and strategic briefs
- Oversee partnership onboarding, contracting, and in-life performance governance
- Establish joint operating models including success metrics, escalation paths, QBR cadences, and demand-generation programs
- Identify partnership and acquisition opportunities that expand revenue streams and improve margins
- Manage engagement with third-party advisors for legal, commercial, and technical due diligence
- Support regulatory filings and compliance activities related to partnerships and acquisitions
- Enhance partnership and acquisition frameworks, selection criteria, and pipeline dashboards
- Maintain and refine the ICT acquisition pipeline in line with du Tech strategic priorities
- Lead integration readiness assessments and commercial positioning of acquisition cases
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred
- Possess 10–15 years of experience in corporate development or ICT partnerships
- Demonstrate at least 5 years of experience leading technology acquisitions or major strategic alliances
- Exhibit deep understanding of the ICT industry, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape
- Demonstrate strong financial and commercial acumen including ROI modeling and valuation basics
- Show proven experience managing end-to-end partnership or acquisition lifecycles
- Exhibit advanced negotiation and contract structuring skills across complex commercial models
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making capabilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in financial analysis and due diligence processes
- Exhibit fluency in English with Arabic proficiency preferred
