The Visual Design Consultant (Digital Product & Brand Experience) at Accenture within the Song practice is responsible for developing visual design solutions that support digital products and services while aligning with brand strategy and user experience design principles. The role focuses on identifying user needs, interpreting client challenges, and translating these insights into compelling visual concepts that unify digital products and services across platforms. Visual designers collaborate closely with UX design and Content Design teams to understand project objectives, design requirements, and user expectations while contributing to the development of visual design artifacts that guide product experiences. The position involves conceptualizing and delivering visual design strategies and assets including mood boards, concept sketches, presentation decks, style guides, storyboards, and compositions with or without wireframes. The consultant contributes to the creation and maintenance of scalable design systems and component libraries that ensure consistency across digital experiences while supporting flexible design frameworks that can evolve with brand and product requirements. The role also requires the ability to interpret and extend brand identity systems into digital touchpoints while maintaining alignment with brand strategy and visual guidelines. Responsibilities include gathering design deliverables into client-ready presentations, communicating design decisions clearly to stakeholders, and providing constructive design feedback within collaborative design environments. The consultant partners with cross-functional teams including design specialists, technology teams, and project management professionals to ensure visual design outputs meet creative direction, strategic objectives, and project timelines. Additionally, the role requires an understanding of organizational and brand dynamics, including the processes and stakeholders that influence brand evolution and product design decisions. The Visual Design Consultant may also participate in planning and attending studio and community events, design workshops, and conferences while representing Accenture as a design ambassador and contributing to the broader design community.

Key responsibilities
- Create and deliver visual design concepts and artifacts that support digital product and service development by interpreting client challenges, identifying user needs, and translating design strategies into compelling visual solutions aligned with brand identity systems and digital touchpoints.
- Design and produce visual design deliverables including mood boards, concept sketches, presentation decks, storyboards, style guides, and compositions with or without wireframes while ensuring all outputs align with established brand strategy and visual design standards.
- Collaborate closely with user experience (UX) design teams, content design specialists, technology teams, and project management professionals to ensure that visual design deliverables meet creative, strategic, and project objectives while maintaining alignment with overall product experience goals.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable design systems and component libraries that support consistent user interface design across products while ensuring flexibility and coherence in design frameworks used across digital platforms.
- Communicate visual design rationale and design decisions clearly to stakeholders and team members by presenting visual design concepts, providing structured design feedback, and participating in collaborative design review sessions throughout project delivery cycles.
- Translate or extend brand identity systems into digital experiences by applying brand strategy principles to digital touchpoints while ensuring visual consistency across interfaces, digital products, and service design experiences.
- Compile visual design deliverables into client-ready presentations that clearly communicate project progress, design concepts, visual strategies, and recommended solutions to internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Participate in studio and community engagement initiatives by attending and helping plan design workshops, conferences, and studio events while representing Accenture as a design ambassador within professional design communities.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate professional capability in visual design and digital design practices including the ability to create visual design artifacts such as mood boards, concept sketches, presentation decks, storyboards, and style guides used in digital product development projects.
- Demonstrate understanding of user experience (UX) design and content design collaboration processes and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary design teams that include UX designers, content designers, technology teams, and project management professionals.
- Demonstrate knowledge of design systems and component libraries including the ability to contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable design frameworks that ensure consistent visual design implementation across digital products and services.
- Demonstrate the ability to translate brand strategy and brand identity systems into visual design outputs for digital touchpoints while maintaining alignment with organizational branding guidelines and user interface design standards.
