Job description
The Senior Operation Processor role in Abu Dhabi operates within a banking environment focused on Wealth Management, Structured Products, Capital Markets, FX, Money Market (MM), and derivatives processing, including PRS and Options. The role is responsible for end-to-end processing of Wealth Management transactions initiated by the Wealth Management department, ensuring proper verification of source documents, accurate execution of settlements, and maintenance of financial records. The position involves monitoring daily settlements, ensuring timely execution of transactions, updating correct Net Asset Value (NAV), and ensuring accurate allocation of units and cash for subscription and redemption activities. The role also includes manual posting of vouchers across Wealth Management, FX, MM, Capital Markets, and derivatives products when required, as well as supporting reconciliation of transactions, accounts, and general ledger (GL) balances. It requires ensuring proper resolution of outstanding reconciliation items, escalation of long-standing discrepancies, and supporting month-end closing activities. The role further includes maintaining organized documentation and records, ensuring compliance with ADIB policies, procedures, and Sharia guidelines, supporting audit readiness, and contributing to operational efficiency improvements through periodic process evaluation and recommendations. It also involves providing support to other business units, maintaining service standards, undertaking training for skill enhancement, and ensuring disciplined operational execution within a regulated banking environment.

Key responsibilities
- Verify and process end-to-end Wealth Management transactions by reviewing source documentation, ensuring accuracy of trade execution, and maintaining compliance with operational procedures and financial controls
- Monitor daily settlements and periodic financial transactions by ensuring timely execution, updating correct NAV values, and accurately allocating units and cash for subscription and redemption activities
- Perform manual voucher postings for Wealth Management, FX, Money Market, Capital Markets, and derivatives transactions to ensure accurate financial recording and system integrity
- Conduct reconciliations of transactions, accounts, and general ledger (GL) balances, identify discrepancies, take corrective action on outstanding items, and escalate unresolved or long-standing issues
- Support month-end closing activities by ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and aligned with reporting requirements and financial control standards
- Maintain organized documentation and records of agreements, transactions, and operational files, ensuring proper filing and coordination with centralized custody or archiving units
- Support FX, Money Market, and Capital Markets teams by assisting with operational processing requirements and ensuring seamless transaction execution across departments
- Evaluate operational processes periodically and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve overall transactional accuracy and workflow effectiveness
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of Wealth Management and investment products including structured products, mutual funds, and TIFO-related financial instruments
- Exhibit experience or familiarity with financial transaction processing including settlements, reconciliations, voucher posting, and NAV updates in a banking environment
- Demonstrate understanding of Capital Markets, FX, Money Market, and derivatives products including PRS and Options processing workflows
- Apply strong knowledge of banking operational procedures, internal controls, and compliance requirements within a regulated financial institution
- Demonstrate ability to perform reconciliation of accounts, GL entries, and transaction records with accuracy and attention to detail
- Exhibit understanding of Sharia compliance principles and adherence to Islamic banking policies and procedures as required by ADIB standards
- Demonstrate ability to manage month-end operational activities including reporting, reconciliation, and financial record validation
- Show ability to maintain disciplined execution, strong organizational skills, and commitment to service standards in a high-volume operational banking environment
