Job description
The Operations Technology Program Manager – Quick Commerce role supports Amazon’s rapidly expanding Quick Commerce operations across the MENA region by leading complex technology roadmap implementations for both greenfield Regional Distribution Center (RDC) launches and brownfield Under the Roof (UTR) feature deployments. The role serves as an Operations Subject Matter Expert and technical orchestrator across interconnected fulfillment systems, managing pre-launch preparation, launch execution, and post-launch stabilization. Responsibilities include coordinating system configurations, bin and bay setup, process path creation, and UAT validation for new RDC sites, while simultaneously driving continuous operational improvements through UTR feature rollouts across existing facilities. The role combines deep operational knowledge with technical program management expertise to ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient fulfillment operations across Amazon’s quick commerce network.

Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical program execution for Regional Distribution Center launches and Under the Roof feature implementations.
- Coordinate pre-launch, launch execution, and post-launch activities including system configuration, bin and bay setup, and process path creation.
- Manage and execute User Acceptance Testing for RDC launches and UTR technology enhancements.
- Apply advanced technical program management methodologies combined with operations SME expertise to deliver complex cross-system launches.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering, operations, and global stakeholder teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Drive cross-functional communication during critical launch phases using deep operational understanding.
- Provide feedback on technical processes, system integrations, and operational workflows to improve future launches.
- Lead initiatives to improve launch-related processes and stakeholder technical experience.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and process guides for operations teams.
- Work on highly complex technical challenges spanning multiple fulfillment and logistics systems.
Experience & skills
- Possess at least 4 years of experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of program or project management experience.
- Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience delivering cross-functional projects.
- Show experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, design, or a related discipline, considered a preferred qualification.
