Job description
The Supervisor Land Freight role at Noatum Logistics, part of AD Ports Group, a leading company in Supply Chain Management positioned in the Top 50 freight forwarders worldwide with global coverage across 33 countries and over 1,680 professionals, is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of land freight within the logistics cluster. The position ensures efficient truck utilization, timely delivery of goods, and strong client relationship management while upholding high standards of safety and compliance. Operating within a global client-centered logistics operator providing integrated value-added solutions across international transport, project cargo, logistics and customs, the role supports complex and added-value supply chain solutions aligned with the companyâs âExcellence in Logistics Servicesâ commitment. The Supervisor Land Freight manages end-to-end land freight operations including arranging day-to-day operations, verifying packing lists, coordinating required vehicle types and quantities, managing outsourced trucks, ensuring fleet requirements are met, issuing delivery notes, submitting port delivery notes and payment receipts, maintaining performance metrics, overseeing work schedules, monitoring delivery timelines, responding to customer follow-ups, handling justified complaints, and ensuring compliance with transport regulations and safety standards. The role requires proficiency in transportation management systems or logistics software and knowledge of cargo handling, documentation control, and regulatory compliance within transportation and logistics environments.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate, arrange, and supervise all day-to-day land freight operations within the logistics cluster by monitoring truck utilization to ensure optimal fleet management, verifying packing lists for shipment accuracy and completeness, determining and coordinating the required number and type of vehicles based on cargo volume and specifications, executing operational tasks with the team, and ensuring timely delivery of goods in alignment with client supply chain requirements and international transport standards.
- Ensure that all fleet requirements from clients and coordinators are met promptly and efficiently by arranging necessary trucks, manpower, and equipment prior to loading shipments, planning vehicle allocation according to operational priorities, overseeing outsourced trucks and monitoring their operational performance, and maintaining strict adherence to transport regulations and safety standards throughout the land freight process.
- Oversee safe cargo handling procedures by ensuring appropriate equipment and manpower are arranged before shipment loading, confirming compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, coordinating closely with logistics and customs processes where applicable, and maintaining operational control to safeguard cargo integrity during land freight transportation.
- Issue delivery notes accurately and ensure timely and precise submission and job closure within transportation management systems or logistics software, submit all required documents including port delivery notes and payment receipts immediately after shipment delivery, maintain accurate records of all documentation, and support transparent and compliant documentation flow across the logistics cluster.
- Develop, implement, and maintain performance metrics and work schedules to monitor truck utilization, fleet efficiency, and delivery timelines, track operational performance indicators, identify and address delivery efficiency issues, maintain strong client relationships by providing necessary documents and operational reports, respond promptly to customer follow-ups, and handle justified complaints in order to uphold service quality and reinforce the companyâs commitment to Excellence in Logistics Services.
Experience & skills
- Possess 5â6 years working experience in logistics or supply chain with direct involvement in land freight operations, freight forwarding, transportation coordination, and logistics processes, including practical exposure to truck utilization monitoring, fleet management, packing lists verification, issuance of delivery notes, preparation and submission of port delivery notes and payment receipts, and overall shipment documentation management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in transportation management systems or logistics software for coordinating shipments, arranging trucks and manpower, issuing delivery notes, ensuring timely job closure, maintaining work schedules, tracking performance metrics, and monitoring delivery timelines within a structured logistics and supply chain management environment.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards governing land freight operations, including regulatory compliance requirements, safe cargo handling practices, adherence to operational safety procedures, and alignment with industry standards applicable to international transport, project cargo, logistics, and customs activities.
- Show previous experience in transportation, logistics, or administrative roles as an advantage, reflecting familiarity with documentation control, operational coordination, and structured logistics workflows within freight forwarding and supply chain management organizations.
- Demonstrate the ability to work flexible hours and in shifts as required to support daily land freight operations, manage operational demands across the logistics cluster, respond effectively to customer follow-ups, address delivery efficiency challenges, oversee outsourced trucks, and ensure continuous and timely delivery of goods in a dynamic and performance-driven logistics environment.
